Do you need fat in your diet?

Many of us are trying to cut back on calories and thus cut back on fat calories.  But do you need some fat?  The answer is yes.   Fat is important for many reasons but one is that fat soluble vitamins need some fat to be absorbed.  Thus, you may not want to use a fat-free dressing on your salad but a dressing with some fat.  If you want to cut back on fat calories, you can choose the light or reduced fat version of dressing and not the fat-free version.  

In the classes I teach, many students come up with a snack for kids of carrots and Fat-Free Ranch Dressing.  Carrots are a healthy food but serving it with Fat-free Ranch means you won�t be absorbing all the nutrients in those carrots.  Not to mention the child will be hungry in no time as carrots are low in calories and Fat-Free Ranch also is low in calories.  Are there health benefits to using salad dressings with some fat such as regular Ranch or Light Ranch dressing?

A Little Fat Helps the Vegetables Go Down so notes an article at WebMD.   The subtitle is:  Eating Salads with Fat-Free Dressings May Rob the Body of Nutrients�.   They note eating salad dressing with some fat may be better for your overall health than fat free dressing.  You need some fat to absorb the nutrients found in vegetables like the healthy lycopeneand carotene.  If you choose to eat your salad with fat-free dressing, you may not be absorbing these healthy nutrients.  

Doesn�t mean you need a high fat diet and most Americans eat too much fat.  But it does mean you can enjoy some oil, or fat in your salad dressing.  Vegetables are naturally low in fat so to absorb the healthy nutrients you need some fat with your meal.  So enjoy some low fat or regular dressing with your salad and forgo the fat-free dressing.

Effects of Proactol on Fat Absorption (Part 3)

, researchers predicted that if NeOpuntia did indeed bind with fats from ingested foods, preventing these fats from being absorbed into the body, then feces should contain an increased amount of excreted fat.

To test this hypothesis, researches used a group of ten healthy individuals and divided them randomly into two groups. Both groups received the same diet and were administered a capsule orally with 1.6 grams of material in it. The control group received a capsule with an inactive ingredient (the placebo) while the other group received a capsule with NeOpuntia in it.

Researchers found that the two groups varied in the amount of excreted fat: those in the NeOpuntia group excreted 27.4% more fat than those in the control group. These results suggest that NeOpuntia does bind with fats and prevents them from being absorbed into the body. This is recorded as increased

fat content

What is the best diet for you for weight loss?

OK. If you want to be slim, you need to change anything in your life, isn't this right? But what to change, it is really difficult to understand this one. There are some ways to lose weight, but most of them are not healthy. So most of them are not going to help you.
OK, let's look more carefully at one diet. Oh!!! I forgot something!!! Never count the calories you have eaten!!!

Diet content

Because there is no reason. If you think the food can make you look fat, then you need to change the menu. For example, my favourite one, when I am on a diet:

Breakfast- Eggs is one of the best choice, of course if you like them. Or a low-fat cheese is also a good choice.
Lunch- A fruit, for example apple, banana and a juice of orange. Lettuce and onions are also one very good addition. Another good thing to eat is yogurt.
Dinner- Salad (tomato, celery, lettuce and cucumbers) for example with tea or diet soda. Although my favourite one is a chicken with all FAT removed.

According to the research from National Health Company, the top fruit that is used from people to lose weight is apple, followed by Avocadoes and Grapefruits. I can't agree with the 4th top food- Hot peppers because some people don't like them... and number 5 is Broccoli. But I prefer apples.

What is Weight Loss in Some Words and Could You Lose Your Weight With a Diet?

I am sure that you find yourself in different situations. Especially nowadays, there are many people that just "ignore" this person that looks fat. Yes, but that is a problem maybe for a lot of people worldwide. No matter you are a kid or an old person, your weight is something you do not really need.

Yes. There are some diseases, which make you fat. But about this nobody can make anything. By the way, a lot of celebrities have this problem, but won't tell it in front of the public. So, but our thread is what is weight loss? This is a strange method of becoming really thin. But there are some unnatural and dangerous methods of losing weight. The best way of course is with a diet. Like so many discussions online, I will tell you only the result of each of them. Eating a little is not dangerous.

For example three up to four times per day. Eating a vegetable for a breakfast (apple, banana, etc.) Then for a lunch you can take a small portion of something without any fats (this, you know the best for yourself). For afternoon you can drink some milk or just another vegetable (this is not necessary, but if you feel yourself hungry, then you need to eat something). Better something healthy. For a dinner you could take rice or any sort of salad, with cheese.

Try to eat no more chickens or meat. Yes you can't live without them (I know that this would be your answer). But read below: According to a lot of people "fast food" is more useful than the lunch for example, which you can make at home. Yes it is really fast, but is it healthy? No and I will tell you why. This food contains a lot of fats. Anyway if you need something different you could try pizza for example, but nothing with meat (I repeat this!!).
